Vanced is the most popular modified app for streaming YouTube videos, with many improvements and additional features. However, despite all the additional features this app offers, the only one missing is the option to download videos.
Among the features that Vanced adds to YouTube, you'll find the option to view videos in the background in PiP mode while using other apps. You can also keep listening to the content in question whenever your smartphone or tablet screen is turned off.
Vanced also blocks all ads on the platform. This includes ads that play before or during videos, as well as banners placed between the video and its comments. In addition, Vanced has even more advanced ad blocking, such as detecting when a video on the platform includes embedded ads, in which case this segment is automatically skipped. That said, if you want to watch ads to support content creators, you can disable the ad-blocking.
Another interesting feature offered by Vanced is the ability to view the number of dislikes. YouTube removed this feature, but with Vanced, you can see the dislikes on videos once again, making it easier to determine if it's good content or not.
As for content playback itself, Vanced includes other features, such as adjusting the volume and screen brightness by swiping up or down on the right and left sides of the screen while watching videos. You can also set the video's resolution to the highest possible option, including 4K, even if your device's screen can't support it.
If you want to enjoy YouTube with tons of additional features, don't hesitate to download the Vanced APK. In order to use Vanced, it's necessary to download Vanced microG and install it before installing Vanced.

Great
The app doesn't work at all, and it says there is a newer version??!!
It doesn't work. It installed along with microG but it won't let me log in with an account or show videos. It won't let me update—nothing, it just sits there.
It’s very good 👍
A very good app, but it lacks a fix for the 1440p+ resolution bug: it keeps switching to the profile setting where auto goes from 144p to 1080p, and you can’t select higher quality like 1440p, 2K, or ...See more
Excellent
